In the 13th minute of the match, Aşık Lebib tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eray Karaalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Selçuk Tokdemir kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 14thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Efsane geri döndu's keeper Eray Karaalp was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karsiyaka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Karsiyaka's Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serhat Saadettin in the 27th minute of play. When Asım Arif Yerlikaya fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Efsane geri döndu's protests and gave Asım Arif Yerlikaya a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Efsane geri döndu getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Asım Arif Yerlikaya hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Karsiyaka's İlkan Vasif tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Efsane geri döndu's Eray Karaalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanay Canver in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Okanay Canver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Efsane geri döndu getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Serhat Saadettin hit a great ball. Okanay Canver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eray Karaalp having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İbrahim Efe Ortaç was the one to do the kick off. Sancar Bedih kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Salih Yağızbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Efsane geri döndu's goal looked a bit too open when Okanay Canver came free, but Eray Karaalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selçuk Tokdemir in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eray Karaalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Selçuk Tokdemir notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Efsane geri döndu's Eray Karaalp. Eray Karaalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Efsane geri döndu's zone, Okanay Canver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eray Karaalp came out of the goal and Okanay Canver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karsiyaka's Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paşa Ali Oğuz in the 78th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Paşa Ali Oğuz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Karsiyaka's zone, Paşa Ali Oğuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu came out of the goal and Paşa Ali Oğuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
