The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Üzümlü SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arda Göksel İlgi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aşık Lebib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanay Canver in the 95th minute of play forced Üzümlü SK's goalkeeper Gürsel Ege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okanay Canver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gürsel Ege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karsiyaka fully deserved thier win.
