With a little luck, Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü's Ozan Yağızer got control of the ball when Müfit Ceri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yenal Arpacıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Yenal Arpacıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Savaş Özdinç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sungurhan Barbaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savaş Özdinç having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sungurhan Barbaros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ozan Yağızer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müfit Ceri in the 59th minute of play. Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü's Yenal Arpacıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü booed when REDBULL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polat Duyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sungurhan Barbaros came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sungurhan Barbaros couldn't finish the play. Müfit Ceri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kandemir Çırak in the 80th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Ozan Yağızer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ozan Yağızer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kandemir Çırak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müfit Ceri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ozan Yağızer having to make a save. Kandemir Çırak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
