Alphan Hazar came out of the goal and Baybora Asutay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İsrafil Ergüleç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Özatay having to interfere. A collision led to FENERBAHÇE getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cengizhan Gündem hit a great ball. Baybora Asutay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alphan Hazar made a huge save. With 17 minutes on the clock, Arif Memduh Tunçkan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 17 minutes into the game, one of FENERBAHÇE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Dumlupınar Sk.. Ulvi Ergenç stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saip Özatay. 0-1. Alphan Hazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. In the 33rd match minute, Dumlupınar Sk. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencalp Özdek to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erdi Mücahit during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erdi Mücahit hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Gencalp Özdek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Şefik Esendağ was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Baybora Asutay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2.
