Davut Aköz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pepoloji getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş hit a great ball. When Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Pepoloji fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş couldn't finish the play. If Davut Aköz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Halit Ziya Türkeş's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atıf Bengisoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Coşkun Kudret in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş made the kick off in the second half. Davut Aköz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Recep Kırgız. Recep Kırgız dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Recep Kırgız tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Coşkun Kudret made a precise shot to the right of Atıf Bengisoy. Pepoloji's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Recep Kırgız. 67 minutes into the match, Acar Gökalp notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Pepoloji's Atıf Bengisoy. Atıf Bengisoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepoloji the free kick. After 78 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan Sabir. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Recep Kırgız successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pepoloji were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Galatasaray's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davut Aköz took the corner. Pepoloji's Davut Aköz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Recep Kırgız in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Davut Aköz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pepoloji's Emre Baltacı got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Rıfat Aktaş came free, but Recep Kırgız reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferhan Sabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
