The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mirza Sezer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osman Nuri Köken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Barışcan Özengin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th match minute, Eskişehirspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedai Andaç to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Eskişehirspor FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Osman Nuri Köken hit a great ball. If Osman Nuri Köken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahadır Ferikoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mirza Sezer having to make a save. Mirza Sezer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Eskişehirspor FK's Osman Nuri Köken shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Mirza Sezer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osman Nuri Köken in the 32nd minute of play. Mirza Sezer came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskişehirspor FK's Osman Nuri Köken. But to his dismay, Osman Nuri Köken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 38 minutes of play, Eskişehirspor FK's Osman Nuri Köken made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mirza Sezer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Eskişehirspor FK's zone, Barışcan Özengin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Samim came out of the goal and Barışcan Özengin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Samsunspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eskişehirspor FK were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barışcan Özengin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Eskişehirspor FK booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Erdem Okatan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Bayram Ersan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eskişehirspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayram Ersan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Samsunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzey Hirfet to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Osman Nuri Köken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirza Sezer came out of the goal and Osman Nuri Köken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samsunspor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Osman Nuri Köken 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. When Osman Nuri Köken came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Eskişehirspor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osman Nuri Köken couldn't finish the play. Osman Nuri Köken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirza Sezer having to interfere. Levent Samim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barışcan Özengin in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Bahadır Ferikoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirza Sezer came out of the goal and Bahadır Ferikoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fahri Şen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Levent Samim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eskişehirspor FK played a much better game than Samsunspor and deserved their victory. The Samsunspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
