An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahri Şen in the 33rd minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Cengiz Cezlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Çelebi Refik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirza Sezer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cengiz Cezlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barışcan Özengin's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
