In the 11th minute, Gencalp Umur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Bahadır Ferikoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mansur Yetiş's late challenge caught a Eskişehirspor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osman Nuri Köken in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emin Vahit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emin Vahit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahadır Ferikoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Bahtiyar SK's Mansur Yetiş got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Osman Nuri Köken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osman Nuri Köken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Vahit having to interfere. Osman Nuri Köken struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Emin Vahit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskişehirspor FK. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fahri Acaralp was the one to do the kick off. Eskişehirspor FK's Osman Nuri Köken got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Bahtiyar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadır Ferikoğlu came free, but Emin Vahit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedai Andaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Osman Nuri Köken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emin Vahit was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Eskişehirspor FK's Osman Nuri Köken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emin Vahit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bahadır Ferikoğlu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Eskişehirspor FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emin Vahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osman Nuri Köken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Bahtiyar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadır Ferikoğlu came free, but Emin Vahit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Eskişehirspor FK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
