Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bedih Soyuer kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Abdulbaki Niğdeli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halit Ziya Dilsafa. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fenerza's Fethi Özgeer got a free kick in the 20th minute. Yetkiner Verim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Halit Ziya Dilsafa made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulbaki Niğdeli was the one to do the kick off. Fenerza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darende the free kick. The supporters of Darende booed when Fenerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atak Akaltan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Abdulbaki Niğdeli made a precise shot to the right of Halit Ziya Dilsafa. Fenerza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Abdulbaki Niğdeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Halit Ziya Dilsafa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdulbaki Niğdeli ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuralp Merdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Fenerza's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Merdan came free, but Halit Ziya Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Müfit Diriğ got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Darende hanging dry this time. If Abdulbaki Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Nuralp Merdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Darende players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
