Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barışcan Özengin kicked off to start the match. If Özbek Şentürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sirkeci getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cumhur Acar hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Barışcan Özengin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahir İzhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fahri Şen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahir İzhan having to interfere. Fahri Şen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 17th minute, Samsunspor's Barışcan Özengin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Özbek Şentürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barışcan Özengin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mahir İzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fahri Şen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sirkeci's goalkeeper Mahir İzhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mirza Sezer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özbek Şentürk in the 38th minute of the match. Müjdat Ongay scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mirza Sezer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Selmi Arslanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Mirza Sezer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özbek Şentürk in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Yiğit Kuthan's late challenge caught a Sirkeci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yiğit Kuthan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sirkeci booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiğit Kuthan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mahir İzhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet İlke İrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Barışcan Özengin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Emre Cesur kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Sirkeci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Emre Cesur to maneuver through the defense. Fahri Şen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Mirza Sezer managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Sirkeci's Özbek Şentürk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 75th minute, Fahri Şen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barışcan Özengin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barışcan Özengin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barışcan Özengin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barışcan Özengin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Barışcan Özengin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahir İzhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sirkeci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barışcan Özengin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 90 minutes into the match, Sirkeci's goal looked a bit too open when Fahri Şen came free, but Mahir İzhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sirkeci's Mahir İzhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlke İrem in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Müjdat Ongay came free, but Mirza Sezer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahir İzhan came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Samsunspor's Fahri Şen. But to his dismay, Fahri Şen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Samsunspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
