Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Burhanettin Ağın took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Selmi Temren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayirli's supporters rose to their feet, but Selmi Temren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batı Enver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Halit Tanyel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kirikkale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayirli the free kick. After 10 played minutes Kirikkale got a freekick which was hit by Halit Tanyel. After 10 played minutes, Cayirli's Selmi Temren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Batı Enver came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cayirli's Faruk Nafiz Nezir got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 24 played minutes, Kirikkale's Zekai Özaltan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nihat Gökçek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kirikkale reached it. İbrahim Ethem Mukaddes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Batı Enver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayirli. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burhanettin Ağın in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nihat Gökçek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Faruk Nafiz Nezir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Faruk Nafiz Nezir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirikkale's goalkeeper Batı Enver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İbrahim Ethem Mukaddes made a kick off. İbrahim Ethem Mukaddes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Hasan Tahsin Ergüvenç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirikkale and the Cayirli players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kirikkale getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hasan Tahsin Ergüvenç hit a great ball. İbrahim Ethem Mukaddes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kirikkale's Vecdi Tunçöven got a free kick in the 77th minute. Faruk Nafiz Nezir hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. During the 87th minute of the match Vecdi Tunçöven completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vecdi Tunçöven a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Batı Enver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Mukaddes in the 94th minute of play. Selmi Temren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batı Enver having to interfere. The Kirikkale players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
