Ediz Tatu's late challenge caught a AGO FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ediz Tatu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ahmetli getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ediz Tatu hit a great ball. Gürbüz Özen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hamza Arman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahmetli's goalkeeper Güray Öktuğ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sungurbey Taner in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Güray Öktuğ, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Sungurbey Taner came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the AGO FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sungurbey Taner couldn't finish the play. Güray Öktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanju Nuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th match minute, Ahmetli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybars Koytan to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Ahmetli's goal looked a bit too open when Tanju Nuri came free, but Güray Öktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ahmetli had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
