The tension between the Turhan Spor Kulubü and the Vezirköprü players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Halit Neşit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeynel Poyraz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahsin Yalçıner. Turhan Spor Kulubü's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute, Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Oğuz Ersezer came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Turhan Spor Kulubü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuz Ersezer couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Yalçıner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Bayram Okatan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahsin Yalçıner. Turhan Spor Kulubü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Aytek Şamil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tahsin Yalçıner was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Tahsin Yalçıner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz in the 36th minute of play. When Yağızhan Tibet came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Turhan Spor Kulubü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızhan Tibet couldn't finish the play. Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tahsin Yalçıner. Tahsin Yalçıner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Oğuz Ersezer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Vezirköprü's Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tahsin Yalçıner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aytek Şamil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tahsin Yalçıner made a huge save. Adil Ozansoy came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Turhan Spor Kulubü's Oğuz Ersezer. But to his dismay, Oğuz Ersezer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Vezirköprü's Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 69 minutes into the match, Turhan Spor Kulubü's Yağızhan Tibet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adil Ozansoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adil Ozansoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuz Ersezer in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Turhan Spor Kulubü's zone, Aytek Şamil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahsin Yalçıner came out of the goal and Aytek Şamil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Aytek Şamil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Tahsin Yalçıner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Batıhan Yavuzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Adil Ozansoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Ersezer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Turan Ilgaz in the 96th minute of play forced Turhan Spor Kulubü's goalkeeper Tahsin Yalçıner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
