No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Nizip JK's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfi Sufi came free, but Kutluay Pekgöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Nafiz Haneci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lütfi Sufi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Kutluay Pekgöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diski. After a rather tough play, Nizip JK's Osman Geçer got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Alemdar Er managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizip JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alemdar Er was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nadir Acunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Diski fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nizip JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
