After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, Nurtekin Turkay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Merih came out of the goal and Nurtekin Turkay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nurtekin Turkay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Merih having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gani Taşer to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Bunnies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerim Öktuna to maneuver through the defense. Halil Merih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurtekin Turkay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdeniz Sakman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Halil Merih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alim Yalaza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halil Merih having to make a save. Erdeniz Sakman's late challenge caught a Trabzonspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ataol Namık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asrın Yalınay having to interfere. Alim Yalaza kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alim Yalaza in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Merih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bedih Tanbolat was the one to do the kick off. Halil Merih made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alim Yalaza sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ataol Namık managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ataol Namık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asrın Yalınay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Cafer Uğurlubey kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Bunnies's Nurtekin Turkay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Bunnies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alim Yalaza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nurtekin Turkay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erdeniz Sakman came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bunnies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdeniz Sakman couldn't finish the play. Ataol Namık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asrın Yalınay having to interfere. When the match was over Bunnies could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trabzonspor throughout the match.
