Diski's Vatan Hakyemez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Diski from getting a goal against them. Asrın Yalınay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfi Sufi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nadir Acunalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lütfi Sufi to make the kick off. If Ali Cafer Uğurlubey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfi Sufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asrın Yalınay having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Diski's goal looked a bit too open when Erdeniz Sakman came free, but Vatan Hakyemez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
