Doganyol FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fahri Suhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Belören Gençlik SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziya Onur Tanaydin to maneuver through the defense. Birant Akata has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 46th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 75th match minute, Doganyol FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resul Ulaç to maneuver through the defense. Resul Ulaç's late challenge caught a Belören Gençlik SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Resul Ulaç helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Doganyol FK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Resul Ulaç hit a great ball. Ahmet Lütfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baki Humbaracıbaşı in the 84th minute of play. Ahmet Lütfi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ege Ünver in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Belören Gençlik SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
