After having played for 13 minutes, Baki Humbaracıbaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belören Gençlik SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baki Humbaracıbaşı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yaşar Teoman hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Agri's goalkeeper Ali Numan Bakırcı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baki Humbaracıbaşı. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baki Humbaracıbaşı in the 24th minute of play forced Agri's goalkeeper Ali Numan Bakırcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Hüseyin Akgöze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüseyin Akgöze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Agri booed when Belören Gençlik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Atıf Özgulec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Türker Şenol came out of the goal and Yücel Doğanlar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hüseyin Akgöze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cenk Sefer kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Agri's goal looked a bit too open when Baki Humbaracıbaşı came free, but Ali Numan Bakırcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baki Humbaracıbaşı made a kick off. When Hüseyin Akgöze came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Agri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Akgöze couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Hüseyin Akgöze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Agri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Baki Humbaracıbaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belören Gençlik SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Baki Humbaracıbaşı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Numan Bakırcı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belören Gençlik SK's Türker Şenol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Belören Gençlik SK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Belören Gençlik SK's Arslan Özender got a free kick in the 67th minute. Baki Humbaracıbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ali Numan Bakırcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hüsrev Vargın's late challenge caught a Belören Gençlik SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ege Ünver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belören Gençlik SK's Baki Humbaracıbaşı got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Baki Humbaracıbaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baki Humbaracıbaşı in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Numan Bakırcı prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
