Yayladere's Furkan Alkın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selmi Baran in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kutluay Semavi got free with Furkan Alkın in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Abdullah Riva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdullah Riva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mehmet Emin Ayazoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kutluay Semavi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Çağatay Albay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yayladere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağatay Albay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Hakkı Devrim Sezgen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lapseki SK's Mehmet Emin Ayazoğlu. Mehmet Emin Ayazoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Furkan Alkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmi Baran in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Yayladere's goal looked a bit too open when Selmi Baran came free, but Furkan Alkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Kutluay Semavi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Alkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yayladere made a substitution. Habib Giyas replaced Selim Kavaş. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 68 minutes, Pars Torum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapseki SK and the Yayladere players grew even worse after the yellow card.
