Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Işık Akçam took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kutalp Yazargil came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Bedirhan's Nafiz Onural. But to his dismay, Nafiz Onural quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Sabri Özerdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabri Özerdem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Afşin Ruhsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Refik Akburçak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutalp Yazargil having to interfere. If Sabri Özerdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bedirhan's zone, Işık Akçam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afşin Ruhsan came out of the goal and Işık Akçam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bedirhan's Ahmet Refik Akburçak got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artun Eldemir kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nafiz Onural in the 25th minute of play forced KS Şimşekspor's goalkeeper Kutalp Yazargil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Işık Akçam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afşin Ruhsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Sabri Özerdem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Şimşekspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabri Özerdem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batur İsfendiyar during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nafiz Onural made a kick off. Nafiz Onural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bedirhan's Afşin Ruhsan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artun Eldemir in the 63rd minute of play. Artun Eldemir's late challenge caught a Bedirhan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artun Eldemir helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bedirhan booed when KS Şimşekspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artun Eldemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nafiz Onural came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Bedirhan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nafiz Onural couldn't finish the play. If Işık Akçam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Nafiz Onural left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bedirhan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Nafiz Onural was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Bedirhan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
