The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Arif Sehriyar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Selçuk Peşrev firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hıdır Ercan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Selçuk Peşrev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilgin. Selçuk Peşrev made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Özdemir Yazır sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hıdır Ercan made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ertaç Oğuzkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MUTLU CİTY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilgin the free kick. A collision led to MUTLU CİTY getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. The MUTLU CİTY players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
