An unexpectedly hard shot by Poyraz Vahapoğlu in the 11th minute of play forced Devrek's goalkeeper Nuratay Hadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hayati Sezen fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devrek's protests and gave Hayati Sezen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MUTLU CİTY booed when Devrek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayati Sezen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bülent Atlıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devrek's supporters rose to their feet, but Bülent Atlıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selçuk Peşrev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, kaya Esay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devrek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bülent Atlıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. kaya Esay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selçuk Peşrev having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Abdullah Özerk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selçuk Peşrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from kaya Esay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers kaya Esay in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selçuk Peşrev saved MUTLU CİTY from getting behind. In the 48th minute, kaya Esay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell kaya Esay to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Ertaç Oğuzkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUTLU CİTY and the Devrek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes MUTLU CİTY got a freekick which was hit by Ertaç Oğuzkan. Bülent Atlıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Selçuk Peşrev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devrek.
