Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lütfi Bozkaya to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sungurlu SK's Ali Numan Ihlamur got control of the ball when Mithat Canver tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baturay Koyas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. İlkan Kurban might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüseyin Can Dersu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İlkan Kurban ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gülnar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
