In the 16th minute, Ali Orhan Deren made a precise shot to the right of Cenap Kutlutekin. Banaz FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cankut Kutlay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jupiyampi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cankut Kutlay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cenap Kutlutekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enis Behiç Atlıhan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. Sümer Özker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Orhan Bahçıvan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enis Behiç Atlıhan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Orhan Bahçıvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Enis Behiç Atlıhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ali Orhan Deren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Mehmet Anıl Yezid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banaz FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jupiyampi the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enis Behiç Atlıhan to make the kick off.
