After 36 minutes, Arif Egemen Öktuna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Topkapi and the Vefa UNITED FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 37 minutes, Emir Soner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vefa UNITED FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emir Soner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Vefa UNITED FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hamdullah Saygılı hit a great ball. If Emir Soner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Topkapi's Aşır Suha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baybora Oytunç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Vefa UNITED FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Topkapi were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aşır Suha to strike the kick off in the second half. Vefa UNITED FC were furious when Hamdullah Saygılı was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Baybora Oytunç, was totally fooled by Topkapi's Kenan Bakırhan, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Aşır Suha came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Topkapi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aşır Suha couldn't finish the play. Nazım Mansız struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Erbatur Doğanay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vefa UNITED FC. Emir Soner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erbatur Doğanay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Vefa UNITED FC's Baybora Oytunç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alptuğ Akçakaya in the 89th minute of play. Baybora Oytunç was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Alptuğ Akçakaya capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alptuğ Akçakaya really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Arif Egemen Öktuna struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Baybora Oytunç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topkapi. Topkapi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
