Atakan Eskici came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY's Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin. But to his dismay, Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, matrax's Tarkan Özdilmaç got a free kick in the 17th minute. Atakan Eskici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fahrettin Çoğan went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes, Oğuzalp Makbul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the matrax players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for matrax. Ahmet Danış Ülgener stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Çakabey Ayana. 2-1. Doğuş Tunçhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atakan Eskici having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atakan Eskici. That made the score 3-1 in the 34 minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match GALATASARAY got a corner. matrax's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebati Helvacı ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sebati Helvacı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but matrax's Atakan Eskici did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İrfan Nezihi was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İrfan Nezihi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to matrax getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. İrfan Nezihi hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of matrax's Atakan Eskici. Atakan Eskici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 57th minute of the match İrfan Nezihi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave İrfan Nezihi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, matrax's İrfan Nezihi got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atakan Eskici having to interfere. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when matrax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Danış Ülgener didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Doğuş Tunçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğuş Tunçhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atakan Eskici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to matrax getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Battal Seyyit Başesgioğlu hit a great ball. Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Atakan Eskici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When GALATASARAY's Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atakan Eskici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind matrax's goalkeeper Atakan Eskici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atakan Eskici was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After 85 minutes of play, GALATASARAY's Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atakan Eskici was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Mustafa Kemal Demirtekin made a precise shot to the right of Atakan Eskici. matrax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 91st minute, Fahrettin Çoğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that GALATASARAY were the better team. GALATASARAY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
