In the 12thth minute of the game Sümer Özker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but matrax's Atakan Eskici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, matrax's İrfan Nezihi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Tarkan Özdilmaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enis Behiç Atlıhan in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atakan Eskici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sümer Özker scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atakan Eskici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mehmet Anıl Yezid fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banaz FK's protests and gave Mehmet Anıl Yezid a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of matrax booed when Banaz FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Anıl Yezid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cenap Kutlutekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Nezihi in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Sümer Özker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banaz FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sümer Özker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enis Behiç Atlıhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atakan Eskici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kaan Birsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enis Behiç Atlıhan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes matrax got a freekick which was hit by Tarkan Özdilmaç. İrfan Nezihi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenap Kutlutekin having to interfere. A collision led to matrax getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aytekin Saip hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Baybars Nedim in the 67th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Atakan Eskici's left hand side. When Mehmet Anıl Yezid was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. İrfan Nezihi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cenap Kutlutekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to matrax getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tarkan Özdilmaç hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, matrax's goalkeeper Atakan Eskici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sümer Özker. The long shot by Enis Behiç Atlıhan in the 84th minute really tested Atakan Eskici's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sümer Özker got free with Atakan Eskici in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
