Vefa UNITED FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artova FK the free kick. After 10 played minutes, Artova FK's Serbülent Nebi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baybora Oytunç came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Artova FK reached it. Serbülent Nebi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Servet Afacan came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vefa UNITED FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Servet Afacan couldn't finish the play. Vefa UNITED FC's Baybora Oytunç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Işık in the 19th minute of play. Baybora Oytunç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamza Işık went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Emir Soner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nazım Mansız got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Vefa UNITED FC's Nazım Mansız got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Emir Soner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vefa UNITED FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emir Soner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Artova FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Volkan to maneuver through the defense. Vefa UNITED FC's Emir Soner got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Servet Afacan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Balaban Riayet. Servet Afacan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Emir Soner made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Emir Soner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Balaban Riayet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emir Soner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balaban Riayet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Emir Soner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Balaban Riayet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Vefa UNITED FC's goalkeeper Baybora Oytunç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Barış Özpulat. Vefa UNITED FC's Baybora Oytunç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Işık in the 71st minute of play. Emir Soner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hakkı Candeğer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balaban Riayet having to make a save. If Emir Soner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play, Vefa UNITED FC's Hakkı Candeğer made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Balaban Riayet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Balaban Riayet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emir Soner in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emir Soner in the 88th minute of play forced Artova FK's goalkeeper Balaban Riayet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Şansal Kaman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artova FK and the Vefa UNITED FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şansal Kaman hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Emir Soner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balaban Riayet having to interfere. Servet Afacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamza Işık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybora Oytunç having to interfere. Vefa UNITED FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
