After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Emir Soner managed to get in a good position for a shot. With 25 minutes on the clock, Enginalp Tekdoğan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Vefa UNITED FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Feneryolu FK:s goal. Derviş Nasip shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Servet Afacan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With his leg Baybora Oytunç managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Feneryolu FK's Süleyman Cinel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nazım Mansız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Feneryolu FK's Furkan Bircanoğlu got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes, Nazım Mansız mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vefa UNITED FC and the Feneryolu FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Vefa UNITED FC got a freekick which was hit by Nazım Mansız. In the 46th match minute, Feneryolu FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Furkan Bircanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Emir Soner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baybars Baytekin was the one to do the kick off. Süleyman Cinel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Süleyman Cinel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feneryolu FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Baybora Oytunç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Özgunay in the 60th minute of play. Baybora Oytunç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süleyman Cinel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süleyman Cinel in the 64th minute of play forced Vefa UNITED FC's goalkeeper Baybora Oytunç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Feneryolu FK's Baybars Baytekin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baybora Oytunç was left in no man's land by his defense there!
