Spectators: 7269 (Terracing: 5453, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Fenerbahçe SK's Rıfkı Nuralp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 22 minutes, Rıfkı Nuralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe SK and the Eryamangücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rıfkı Nuralp hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ergin Özveri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mustafa Arif Sabit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Halil Can Süvari came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Eryamangücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halil Can Süvari couldn't finish the play. Rıfkı Nuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mustafa Arif Sabit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Arif Sabit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergin Özveri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Arif Sabit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıfkı Nuralp in the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Rıfkı Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıfkı Nuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Arif Sabit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Arif Sabit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Nuralp in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eryamangücü's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Sabit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enginalp Ağın made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Fenerbahçe SK got a freekick which was hit by Fazıl Hüsnü Urluk. After having played for 53 minutes, Enginalp Ağın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eryamangücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enginalp Ağın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Enginalp Ağın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eryamangücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rıfkı Nuralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nurkan Selmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Arif Sabit having to interfere. Rıfkı Nuralp hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Eryamangücü getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bican Tekinsoy hit a great ball. Mustafa Emre Demirbaş was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rıfkı Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıfkı Nuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Arif Sabit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fenerbahçe SK booed when Eryamangücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bedri Akaydın didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Mustafa Emre Demirbaş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Arif Sabit showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Nuralp in the 79th minute of play forced Eryamangücü's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Sabit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fazıl Hüsnü Urluk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Arif Sabit having to make a save. If Ergin Özveri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Ersin İspinoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Arif Sabit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
