Nejat Alp Onursay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Boran Topay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Kocamustafapasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencer Kıralp to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Tümer Cinel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Gencer Kıralp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nejat Alp Onursay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alper Olcays short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Berkay Şahin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Kurucasile getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mehmet Halis Selman hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ahmet Boran Topay notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kurucasile's Nejat Alp Onursay. Nejat Alp Onursay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Mazhar Saraç in the 35th minute really tested Berkay Şahin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kocamustafapasa's zone, Ali Cengiz Şahoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkay Şahin came out of the goal and Ali Cengiz Şahoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berkay Şahin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alper Olcay in the 39th minute of the match. Celal Semin made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kurucasile's Zekai Cerme. In the 42nd minute, Zekai Cerme made a precise shot to the right of Berkay Şahin. Kocamustafapasa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The long shot by Mehmet Halis Selman in the 48th minute really tested Berkay Şahin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baki Gümüşcüoğlu to make the kick off. Ziya Dirsehan charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziya Dirsehan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nejat Alp Onursay was a little too slow when Ahmet Boran Topay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Alper Olcay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Kurucasile getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Yiğit Temizsoy hit a great ball. Ahmet Nafiz Ongunsu made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Baki Gümüşcüoğlu however managed to control. In the 71st minute of the match Mehmet Halis Selman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berkay Şahin skillfully saved the ball. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kurucasile! In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Kocamustafapasa. Ahmet Nafiz Ongunsu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nejat Alp Onursay. 1-4. Kurucasile's Sümer Diclehan was substituted for Ediz Bilginer. Ziya Dirsehan took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nejat Alp Onursay. Nejat Alp Onursay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Nejat Alp Onursay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baki Gümüşcüoğlu in the 85th minute of play. If Yiğit Temizsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Baki Gümüşcüoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kocamustafapasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Nejat Alp Onursay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziya Dirsehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Kurucasile fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Kurucasile's Alper Olcay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Kocamustafapasa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kocamustafapasa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
