An unexpectedly hard shot by Aycan Alansoy in the 9th minute of play forced Zeytinburnu's goalkeeper Sadettin Özdurdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Gastamonu37 got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Numan Tibet. A hard shot 12 in the game by Adnan Sayıl from a close distance when the talented Güneri Selim managed to make a qualified save. Gastamonu37's players were relieved. If Adnan Sayıl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güneri Selim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal İhsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Aycan Alansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Özdurdu having to interfere. Altay Taci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zeytinburnu! In the 32ndth minute of the game Altay Taci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zeytinburnu's Sadettin Özdurdu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Naci Kayrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zeytinburnu and the Gastamonu37 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Zeytinburnu got a freekick which was hit by Naci Kayrak. After the first half Gastamonu37 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Mirkelam İlsak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gastamonu37's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zeytinburnu the free kick. Mirkelam İlsak kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sadettin Özdurdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aycan Alansoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zeytinburnu's Arif Burak Erdurmus got a free kick in the 69th minute. Adnan Sayıl took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Güneri Selim. Güneri Selim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güneri Selim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gastamonu37's zone, Adnan Sayıl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güneri Selim came out of the goal and Adnan Sayıl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadettin Özdurdu made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Altay Taci sent off a good shot on target.
