The supporters of Zeytinburnu booed when Gala Lion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Cenk İmren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adnan Sayıl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Güray Tuğtekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güray Tuğtekin was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 16 played minutes Zeytinburnu got a freekick which was hit by Güray Tuğtekin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertel Talayman in the 25th minute of play forced Zeytinburnu's goalkeeper Sadettin Özdurdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Birol Dündar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Özdurdu having to interfere. Sertel Talayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Adnan Sayıl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gala Lion's Arif Ensar Haznedaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adnan Sayıl in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Gala Lion's Sertel Talayman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Arif Ensar Haznedaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Sayıl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sertel Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Özdurdu having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sertel Talayman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Battal İhsan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arif Ensar Haznedaroğlu. The goal made the score 1-1. 72 minutes into the match, Zeytinburnu's Adnan Sayıl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Ensar Haznedaroğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adnan Sayıl got free with Arif Ensar Haznedaroğlu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeytinburnu's Fahri Kayaalp got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sertel Talayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuh Ağaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Zeytinburnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirkelam Mahir to maneuver through the defense. Gala Lion's Alperen Bozyiğit got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alperen Bozyiğit struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sadettin Özdurdu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gala Lion. After having played for 96 minutes, Sertel Talayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gala Lion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sertel Talayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gala Lion were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
