Mustafa Namık Giyas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yıldırım Şahinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denizhan Çoğa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Denizhan Çoğa in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 23 minutes, Fikret Özinal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catalcesme and the BURSA SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. 25 minutes into the match, Catalcesme's goal looked a bit too open when Denizhan Çoğa came free, but Yıldırım Şahinoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catalcesme's Mustafa Namık Giyas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Namık Giyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abuzer Özdener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cafer Vefakar in the 30th minute of play. If Mustafa Namık Giyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suavi Demirtekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yıldırım Şahinoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Suavi Demirtekin ran back to his position shaking his head. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denizhan Çoğa was the one to do the kick off. Yıldırım Şahinoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Suavi Demirtekin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Catalcesme's Yıldırım Şahinoğlu. Yıldırım Şahinoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Catalcesme's Ali Cafer Vefakar got a free kick in the 67th minute. Yıldırım Şahinoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denizhan Çoğa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Catalcesme defense, Denizhan Çoğa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yıldırım Şahinoğlu. The Catalcesme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yıldırım Şahinoğlu should have stopped the shot. If Mustafa Namık Giyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catalcesme's Ali Cafer Vefakar got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Ali Cafer Vefakar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 81 minutes into the match, Catalcesme's goal looked a bit too open when Suavi Demirtekin came free, but Yıldırım Şahinoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Suavi Demirtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Namık Giyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suavi Demirtekin in the 98th minute of play forced Catalcesme's goalkeeper Yıldırım Şahinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BURSA SPOR fans cheered their team off the field, for while Catalcesme had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
