Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) GAZZE's Güneş Yenal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 18th minute of the match, Güneş Yenal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reis Atlıoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 19 played minutes GAZZE got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Bülent İlenç. 20 minutes into the match, Yatagan's Şanver Nadi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Volkan Uyaralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Demiralp Nurbaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes GAZZE got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Bülent İlenç. Yatagan's Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu managed to work through GAZZE's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Volkan Uyaralp in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demiralp Nurbaki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reis Atlıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güneş Yenal in the 29th minute of the match. When Özer Temirhan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yatagan's protests and gave Özer Temirhan a yellow card for diving instead. Özer Temirhan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes, Tolga Tümay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yatagan and the GAZZE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Yatagan got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Tümay. Alptuğ Saykal struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Reis Atlıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAZZE. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Volkan Uyaralp to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demiralp Nurbaki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 56 played minutes Yatagan got a freekick which was hit by Şanver Nadi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu got free with Demiralp Nurbaki in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demiralp Nurbaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkan Uyaralp in the 65th minute of play. After 72 played minutes GAZZE got a freekick which was hit by Bedir Saltukalp. After a defensive mix-up in GAZZE's zone, Şanver Nadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demiralp Nurbaki came out of the goal and Şanver Nadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Demiralp Nurbaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkan Uyaralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GAZZE's Demiralp Nurbaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volkan Uyaralp in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
