The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Camlica SK booed when Esme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Türköz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilla Satvet struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Güralp Tuğtaşı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camlica SK. A collision led to Esme getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Orhan Türköz hit a great ball. Esme's Güralp Tuğtaşı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Esme from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute of the match Ramazan Kınık shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hızır Hikmet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Ekber Sabancı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hızır Hikmet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hızır Hikmet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekber Sabancı's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ekber Sabancı in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hızır Hikmet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Numan Tekecan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Ensar Daman during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arif Ensar Daman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Camlica SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Sabancı came free, but Hızır Hikmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hızır Hikmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil İbrahim Ilgın in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Tibet Özgu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a little luck, Esme's Güralp Tuğtaşı got control of the ball when Tibet Özgu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güralp Tuğtaşı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Satvet in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ekber Sabancı made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Satvet in the 52nd minute of play forced Esme's goalkeeper Güralp Tuğtaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Camlica SK's Tibet Özgu in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esme's goalie prevented a goal. After 57 minutes of play, Esme's Ekber Sabancı made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hızır Hikmet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camlica SK's Hızır Hikmet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Camlica SK from getting a goal against them. Ekber Sabancı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ekber Sabancı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Atilla Satvet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esme's Güralp Tuğtaşı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ekber Sabancı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boğaç Tanırer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hızır Hikmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Ensar Daman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ekber Sabancı scored 1-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hızır Hikmet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ekber Sabancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekber Sabancıs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Hızır Hikmet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tibet Özgu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Güralp Tuğtaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Esme left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Camlica SK.
