An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhan Arıkan in the 5th minute of play forced Erzurum FK's goalkeeper Hakan Vatansever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakan Vatansever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlhan Arıkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Erzurum FK booed when FC HORASAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Emre Yücesan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulvi Eracar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakan Vatansever having to interfere. Ulvi Eracar scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakan Vatansever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Özen İdris's late challenge caught a Erzurum FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özen İdris helped the player get up and apologised. Özen İdris hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necip Fazıl Erensoy was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute İlhan Arıkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakan Vatansever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulvi Eracar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hakan Vatansever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
