Lütfi Teoman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Hastimur having to interfere. Şeref Yiğitcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Hastimur having to interfere. Serter Hastimur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şeref Yiğitcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lütfi Teoman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giant Killing's supporters rose to their feet, but Lütfi Teoman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serter Hastimur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Lütfi Teoman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serter Hastimur. AzRaNuR SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lütfi Teoman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Serter Hastimur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şeref Yiğitcan's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Şeref Yiğitcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Hastimur having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Giant Killing's Şeref Yiğitcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serter Hastimur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Şeref Yiğitcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Hastimur having to interfere. Lütfi Teoman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Serter Hastimur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şeref Yiğitcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şeref Yiğitcan scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serter Hastimur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serter Hastimur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şeref Yiğitcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giant Killing's goalkeeper Demirhan Yiğitoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Şadi Özbilgin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Serter Hastimur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes AzRaNuR SK got a freekick which was hit by Alparslan Karahan. Serter Hastimur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Baytüzün in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lütfi Teoman in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serter Hastimur saved AzRaNuR SK from getting behind. If Lütfi Teoman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şeref Yiğitcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Hastimur having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Giant Killing had played much better football throughout.
