Çaykur Rizespor's Saruhan Mert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökhan Uzhan in the 37th minute of play. Nazil Hanedan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Çaykur Rizespor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Oltu JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peyami Yayalp should have stopped the shot. In the 69thth minute of the game Mahmut Yoruk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oltu JK's Peyami Yayalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mahmut Yoruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyami Yayalp having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Gökhan Uzhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saruhan Mert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Nazil Hanedan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çaykur Rizespor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Oltu JK may have spent more time on the ball, but Çaykur Rizespor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
