Giant Killing's Demirhan Yiğitoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fırat Kamran in the 11th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Civril SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyhan Olgunsoy to maneuver through the defense. Berkin Çağkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berkin Çağkar was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fırat Kamran in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Civril SK's zone, Lütfi Teoman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuh Taşkesen came out of the goal and Lütfi Teoman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fırat Kamran struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Giant Killing's goalkeeper Demirhan Yiğitoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute Berkin Çağkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demirhan Yiğitoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Civril SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Giant Killing had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
