Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Kozak Spor's Başar Ungur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kozak Spor were furious when Fazıl Sadik was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kozak Spor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Sedat Bektaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Başar Ungur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ramazan Ubeydullah fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozak Spor's protests and gave Ramazan Ubeydullah a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hamur SK booed when Kozak Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramazan Ubeydullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kozak Spor's Sedat Bektaş got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İbrahim Akçakoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Mecit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Ulaş Hakyemez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Svensson having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kozak Spor's Ulf Svensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kozak Spor from getting a goal against them. Alkın Perinçek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Erdeniz Göktepe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamur SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kozak Spor the free kick. After 69 played minutes Hamur SK got a freekick which was hit by Erdeniz Göktepe. If Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Nejat Mecit struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. İbrahim Akçakoca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kozak Spor. After a defensive mix-up in Hamur SK's zone, Erhan Kayrahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İbrahim Akçakoca came out of the goal and Erhan Kayrahan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Kozak Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur came free, but Ulf Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ali Nejat Mecit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İbrahim Akçakoca. Hamur SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Nejat Mecit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 93 minutes into the match, Hamur SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nejat Mecit came free, but İbrahim Akçakoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulaş Hakyemez got free with Ulf Svensson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Kozak Spor were the better team. Kozak Spor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
