Enis Dağhan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Öztürk Bicanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cumali Alatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfü Alptekin in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zülfü Alptekin in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cumali Alatay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cumali Alatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Alptekin in the 12th minute of play. Kusadasi SK's Görkem Toker got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Emin Tokyürek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş and the Kusadasi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zülfü Alptekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cumali Alatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Öztürk Bicanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Kusadasi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Bicanoğlu came free, but Cumali Alatay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Öztürk Bicanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Zülfü Alptekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cumali Alatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batuğ Erzan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Göksel Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Göksel Canal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cumali Alatay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zülfü Alptekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Alatay having to interfere. Öztürk Bicanoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Cumali Alatay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kusadasi SK's Cumali Alatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zülfü Alptekin in the 89th minute of play. Öztürk Bicanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beşiktaş played a much better game than Kusadasi SK and deserved their victory. The Kusadasi SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
