Demir Baytekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cumali Alatay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Şerafettin İpekçi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Görkem Toker made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Kusadasi SK's zone, Demir Baytekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cumali Alatay came out of the goal and Demir Baytekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cumali Alatay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Demir Baytekin went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Demir Baytekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cumali Alatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Kusadasi SK's goalkeeper Cumali Alatay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demir Baytekin. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Cumali Alatay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Demir Baytekin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Cumali Alatay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Mehmet Edip Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kusadasi SK's Cumali Alatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Edip Oytun in the 90th minute of play. Cumali Alatay made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Demir Baytekin sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Edip Oytun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
