Atilla Tarkan Sonalp was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Gökalp Suhan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gökalp Suhan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Büyükspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Önder Uluöz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beşir Bayraktar got free with Atilla Tarkan Sonalp in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kudret Mecit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feyyaz Yalçınkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Atilla Tarkan Sonalp was a little too slow when Gökalp Suhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Berkant Çelikoz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feyyaz Yalçınkaya to make the kick off. The supporters of Altintas booed when Büyükspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Uluöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilal Yıldırımtürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Mecit having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Feyyaz Yalçınkaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altintas's Kudret Mecit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atilla Tarkan Sonalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Suhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Kudret Mecit made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Feyyaz Yalçınkaya sent off a good shot on target. Gökalp Suhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Tarkan Sonalp having to interfere. After 92 played minutes, Altintas's Aykut Boztepe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atilla Tarkan Sonalp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altintas reached it. Atilla Tarkan Sonalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökalp Suhan in the 94th minute of play. Mustafa Süvarioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Altintas were the better team. Altintas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
