After a rather tough play, KING of MONKEYS's Soner Urkan got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Zikri Reşat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mardin United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zikri Reşat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mardin United booed when KING of MONKEYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soner Urkan didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 58th match minute, Mardin United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Turan Özpinar to maneuver through the defense. Mardin United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
