A collision led to HENDEKSPOR getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ahmet Yahya Enbiya hit a great ball. After some careless play in the HENDEKSPOR defense, Necati Kaynak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orhan Özmert. The HENDEKSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orhan Özmert should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, HENDEKSPOR's Orhan Özmert got control of the ball when Vatan Rezzak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orhan Özmert was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Vatan Rezzak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vatan Rezzak really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With an all-out effort, GALATASARAY S.K's Orhan Özmert threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vatan Rezzak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Necati Kaynak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GALATASARAY S.K's Ardahan Kadirsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emin Tuna in the 21st minute of play. Necati Kaynak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Orhan Özmert made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, HENDEKSPOR's Mehmet Emin Tuna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardahan Kadirsah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Necati Kaynak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Orhan Özmert made a huge save. Vatan Rezzak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Özmert having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, GALATASARAY S.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enes İnanöz to maneuver through the defense. Sergen Seyban's late challenge caught a HENDEKSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergen Seyban helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of HENDEKSPOR booed when GALATASARAY S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergen Seyban didn't get a good kick on the ball. HENDEKSPOR's Bayındır Ezgü got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vatan Rezzak to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, HENDEKSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Abuzer Sebil came free, but Orhan Özmert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Necati Kaynak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HENDEKSPOR's Orhan Özmert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GALATASARAY S.K's Sergen Seyban suffered a concussion after 53 minutes and had to leave the field. Ahmet Yahya Enbiya's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY S.K's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Yahya Enbiya helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Yahya Enbiya kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Necati Kaynak came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the GALATASARAY S.K fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necati Kaynak couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes HENDEKSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emin Tuna. With a little luck, GALATASARAY S.K's Ardahan Kadirsah got control of the ball when Bayındır Ezgü tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Necati Kaynak sped through HENDEKSPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orhan Özmert. Orhan Özmert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Necati Kaynak's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When GALATASARAY S.K's Necati Kaynak in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HENDEKSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. If Necati Kaynak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, HENDEKSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Necati Kaynak came free, but Orhan Özmert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in HENDEKSPOR's zone, Eyüp Tutku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orhan Özmert came out of the goal and Eyüp Tutku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the GALATASARAY S.K players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
