In the 41st minute, one of Mert spor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mert spor. The referee gave UFUK FUTBOL KULÜBÜ a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mustafa Hakan Öge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mert spor's Habib Suyurgal. 4-0.

With an all-out effort, Mert spor's Durmuş Tuluk threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hıdır Yahya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Mert spor booed when UFUK FUTBOL KULÜBÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şemsettin Çoğahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Birol Altınpınar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durmuş Tuluk having to make a save.
