Spectators: 6748 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 100) Mümin Reyyan made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Kayserispor FK's Hüsmen Elçioğlu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Mümin Reyyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Akgün Sanih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE A.Ş's Derman Çağa got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 19 played minutes GÖZTEPE A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Vacip. If Mümin Reyyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Mümin Reyyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayserispor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mümin Reyyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Yenay in the 25th minute of play forced GÖZTEPE A.Ş's goalkeeper Akgün Sanih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Mümin Reyyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akgün Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akgün Sanih came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Kayserispor FK's Ceyhan Yenay. But to his dismay, Ceyhan Yenay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. GÖZTEPE A.Ş's İlhan Ayıkoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kayserispor FK's zone, İlhan Ayıkoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doruk İltekin came out of the goal and İlhan Ayıkoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bedir Arısan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Doruk İltekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akgün Sanih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsmen Elçioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Kayserispor FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İlhan Ayıkoğlu to make the kick off. Akgün Sanih didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hüsmen Elçioğlu went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ceyhan Yenay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Akgün Sanih made a huge save. Sabri Vacip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Mümin Reyyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akgün Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaffar Baray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akgün Sanih having to interfere. GÖZTEPE A.Ş's Akgün Sanih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save GÖZTEPE A.Ş from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, İlhan Ayıkoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kayserispor FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hüsmen Elçioğlu hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Mümin Reyyan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Akgün Sanih. Mümin Reyyan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Doruk İltekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhan Ayıkoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, İlhan Ayıkoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doruk İltekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Akgün Sanih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümin Reyyan in the 83rd minute of play. GÖZTEPE A.Ş's Akgün Sanih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save GÖZTEPE A.Ş from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, GÖZTEPE A.Ş's goalkeeper Akgün Sanih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceyhan Yenay. After a defensive mix-up in Kayserispor FK's zone, Sabri Vacip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doruk İltekin came out of the goal and Sabri Vacip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Afşar Reyyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İlhan Ayıkoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
