In the 10th minute, Cahit Akay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Numan Garipbaş reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hayati Seçkin. The goal made the score 1-0. Cahit Akay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayati Seçkin having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Bursaspor's Numan Garipbaş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hayati Seçkin. Hayati Seçkin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 20 minutes into the game, Mesut Taşer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bursaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAYIŞDAĞI STAYLE the free kick. A collision led to Bursaspor getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mesut Taşer hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Bursaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhan Okbaş came free, but Abay Şinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Bursaspor got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Ataner. In the 23rd minute of the match Ali Macit Savgat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abay Şinas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hayati Seçkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yetkiner Sertuğ in the 30th minute. Bursaspor's Hulusi Ataner got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayati Seçkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cahit Akay, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Abay Şinas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhan Okbaş in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ferhan Okbaş made the kick off in the second half. When Yetkiner Sertuğ came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Bursaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yetkiner Sertuğ couldn't finish the play. Hayati Seçkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cahit Akay in the 56th minute of the match. If Talha Aydın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bursaspor's Zekai Ekabir got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mesut Taşer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, KAYIŞDAĞI STAYLE's Ali Macit Savgat got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Hulusi Ataner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bursaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulusi Ataner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Cahit Akay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayati Seçkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Yetkiner Sertuğ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bursaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After 71 played minutes Bursaspor got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Ataner. In the 72nd minute, Talat Başbuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Tahsin Özver's late challenge caught a Bursaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bursaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Cahit Akay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayati Seçkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zekai Ekabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hayati Seçkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cahit Akay might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hayati Seçkin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cahit Akay ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bursaspor fully deserved thier win.
