Mümtazer Nezihi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Abay Şinas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kazasker. Ataman Çelikel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Şinas having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bursaspor's Şerafettin İdris threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cahit Akay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute of the match Mümtazer Nezihi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abay Şinas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataman Çelikel in the 42nd minute of play forced Bursaspor's goalkeeper Abay Şinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Bursaspor got a freekick which was hit by Talha Aydın. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Yetkiner Sertuğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ataman Çelikel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abay Şinas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Ali Asım Balta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Arif Ensar Aktaşlıoğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kazasker's Şerafettin İdris didn't even have to move. In the 66th minute, Cahit Akay made a precise shot to the right of Şerafettin İdris. Kazasker's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cabbar Kayraalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerafettin İdris having to interfere. Cahit Akay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Numan Garipbaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şerafettin İdris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Şerafettin İdris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Numan Garipbaş in the 77th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bursaspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Kazasker's Mümtazer Nezihi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abay Şinas. Abay Şinas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necip İşçen in the 82nd minute. Numan Garipbaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talha Aydın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şerafettin İdris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Numan Garipbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Şerafettin İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ataman Çelikel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abay Şinas was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
